Happy Birthday January Babies!

Happy Birthday to our January babies... Robert, Dom, Alice, Chee Yan, Choi Woon and May! 

Out of the six champions of the year, three of them are our past presidents. Robert (1994/95), Dominic(2003/04) and Choi Woon(2008/09), brought the club to greater height during their term of service.

Each of them has their uniqueness that all members can relate to... ROBERT is cheerful, DOM is humorous, CHOI WOON is meticulous. 

What about ALICE? She keeps us inspired that learning is a life-long journey. We love her humor, so authentic and heart-warming that touches the heart of everyone!

CHEE YAN is the youngest member of the club, carried with him the maturity that speaks beyond his age. We are impressed with your value in life and certainly proud to have you with the club, Chee Yan!

And MAY, a very meticulous and responsible secretary for the club, that we are all impressed by her thoroughness. We love her courage! By stepping up to participate in the recent Evaluation Contest, it says about May - someone who walks the Toastmasters spirit of 'courage to conquer'.

To all the champion babies, Happy Birthday to you! May your year be filled with abundance and joy!

Message from the Division Governor

Good day to all of you.   T here was once myself and NJ Singam (past  convention   organizing  Chair) went to one of the local bank to close the  convention  bank account. When we went to the counter, we informed the officer about the matter and she handed us 2 forms for us to initial it. Then she obtained our Identification Card for verification. Just within 4 minutes, the officer handed us the remaining balance and told us that, the account was closed. It was a total contrast, if we compared with opening a bank account, where we had to fill few forms, go through few  verification  and approvals prior to opening an account. The entire process took almost 2.5hours compared to closure of account which lasted only for 5 minutes.     We often forget or never ponder on the  initiator  of the club and their sacrifice &  hard work  to charter the club and we just need a single sheet of paper to close a ...

Announcement: 2016 May 24 Meeting

Dear all, please be noted that our next meeting on Tuesday, May 24th will be conducted  as usual, Regular Meeting then follow by a closed doors for AGM. Only active members of Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club are eligible to attend the AGM meeting. Thank you for your cooperation =)
