Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club

Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club (formerly known as Eagles Toastmasters Club Kuala Lumpur) is currently a club in Area B3, Division B in District 51. It was chartered on 1 st June 1985 by our Chartered President, Dato’ Lawrence Chan Kum Peng and it is a community club formed with the following purpose: 1) To help its members improve their abilities to communicate effectively; 2) To provide for its members instructions, educational materials and opportunities which will give them skills and experience in the preparation and delivery of speeches; 3) To encourage its members to read and to listen analytically; 4) To provide for its members fair and constructive evaluation of their efforts toward self improvement; 5) To increase its members knowledge of the rules of parliamentary procedure and skills in conducting meetings and participating in group discussions; 6) To provide opportunities and encouragement for its members to appear before audiences and to e
