Chan Weng May & Victor Ong in Area and Division Contest 2011


26 February 2011 
Chan Weng May and Victor Ong represented Taman Indrahana in the Area B2 competition. And they won, taking first place for both contests, i.e. International Speech and Table Topics respectively. Both of our representatives gave a good account of themselves and the club is proud that we have such accomplished speakers..Special thanks to a small band of fans spearheaded by Chrristine and Chee Yan who had been extremely supportive.

19 March 2011 
In Division B Contest, Weng May was the 2nd runner-up in the International Speech Contest; while Victor, clinched the title 1st Runner-up in the table topic contest. 

May and Victor, we are proud of you! You both keep the Indrahana flag flying high!

Please take note on Area B2 Humourous Speech and Speech Evaluatioan Contest as per below: Date: 5th September (Saturday) Time : 2.00pm-5pm Venue :CIMA Toastmasters Club ( Map attach ) Lots 1.03 and 1,05 level 1 KPMG TOWER First Avenue ,Bandar Utama, 47800 , Petaling Jaya As there are 4 clubs in Area B2, each club will send 2 contestants to the contest. Representatives from Taman Indrahana will be : Kay Wong & Lim Thian Seng (Humorous Speech Contest) and Kay Wong & Tan Wooi Hong (Speech Evaluation Contest). Good evening everyone, my name is Ang Poon Kenn, everyone calls me Ken. Today, the title of my speech is about Myself. As far as I could recall, me parents were not staying with me since I was 3 years old; they went overseas and started their new working life for some reason, and did not come back ever since. I'm staying with my grandmother, and she look after my elder brother, younger sister and me. I actually have not met my parents for more than 18 years and only communicate through the phone and social media. Can you imagine, 15 years of not seeing your own parents? 18 years of not having parents around the house, school and life.
