International Speech and Table Topics Competition 2014

Our club Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club just had our International Speech and Table Topics Competition (ISTTC) for the Year 2014!

All our contestants were awesome! Very well done everyone! Thank you for gracing the night with your speeches and table topics presentations~

After a long deliberation from the judges. we have named our winners for the night! 

For the International Speech Competition, we would like to congratulate our winners!
Our second runner up, Ong Beng Chung! Our first runner up, Angeline! and *drumroll* 
Our winner who would be competing in the Area B2 competition, Victor Ong! 

For the Table topics Competitions, we would like to congratulate, our second runner up, Yean May! Our first runner up, Beng Chung and again, our winner for the night, Victor Ong! 

As the winner our the ISTTC, Victor would be representing Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club in the Area B2 ISTTC! We wish him all the best.

Thank you for the ISTTC team for making the competition such a huge success!

Hi Fellow Taman Indrahana Members, Good Day. Please take note on Area B2 Humourous Speech and Speech Evaluatioan Contest as per below: Date: 5th September (Saturday) Time : 2.00pm-5pm Venue :CIMA Toastmasters Club ( Map attach ) Lots 1.03 and 1,05 level 1 KPMG TOWER First Avenue ,Bandar Utama, 47800 , Petaling Jaya As there are 4 clubs in Area B2, each club will send 2 contestants to the contest. Representatives from Taman Indrahana will be : Kay Wong & Lim Thian Seng (Humorous Speech Contest) and Kay Wong & Tan Wooi Hong (Speech Evaluation Contest). Ice Breaker Speech: Myself by Ang Poon Kenn

Good evening everyone, my name is Ang Poon Kenn, everyone calls me Ken. Today, the title of my speech is about Myself. As far as I could recall, me parents were not staying with me since I was 3 years old; they went overseas and started their new working life for some reason, and did not come back ever since. I'm staying with my grandmother, and she look after my elder brother, younger sister and me. I actually have not met my parents for more than 18 years and only communicate through the phone and social media. Can you imagine, 15 years of not seeing your own parents? 18 years of not having parents around the house, school and life. My grandmother take over my mother's role, she does all the housework for us. She takes care of us. My relative, they are not rich but they sponsor me for my education and pocket money.
