Congratulations to your club for being the winner of the Open House Award ( STM203 )

Every great achievement was once considered impossible, can be achieved with sheer focus, hard work and teamwork. Your team members under your able guidance have made the Open House possible with great success.

On behalf of the District, I wish to congratulate all of you. We are indeed proud of your dedication and commitment in spreading the benefits of the Toastmasters program.

The District will be awarding your team with  USD 25 Toastmasters International Gift Voucher at the Gala Night at  Penang Annual  Convention, 24th May 2013.

Please take note on Area B2 Humourous Speech and Speech Evaluatioan Contest as per below: Date: 5th September (Saturday) Time : 2.00pm-5pm Venue :CIMA Toastmasters Club ( Map attach ) Lots 1.03 and 1,05 level 1 KPMG TOWER First Avenue ,Bandar Utama, 47800 , Petaling Jaya As there are 4 clubs in Area B2, each club will send 2 contestants to the contest. Representatives from Taman Indrahana will be : Kay Wong & Lim Thian Seng (Humorous Speech Contest) and Kay Wong & Tan Wooi Hong (Speech Evaluation Contest). Ice Breaker Speech: Myself by Ang Poon Kenn

Good evening everyone, my name is Ang Poon Kenn, everyone calls me Ken. Today, the title of my speech is about Myself. As far as I could recall, me parents were not staying with me since I was 3 years old; they went overseas and started their new working life for some reason, and did not come back ever since. I'm staying with my grandmother, and she look after my elder brother, younger sister and me. I actually have not met my parents for more than 18 years and only communicate through the phone and social media. Can you imagine, 15 years of not seeing your own parents? 18 years of not having parents around the house, school and life. My grandmother take over my mother's role, she does all the housework for us. She takes care of us. My relative, they are not rich but they sponsor me for my education and pocket money.
